Why are you scared of tampons if you're able to have sex? Tampons are way smaller and you don't even feel them when inserted properly. You're going to have to have your period at some stage in life.
It's hard to say what your discharge is. Could be yeast, but it can be hard to tell if this is your first time ever having strange discharge.
I would suggest going to the doctor this first time, before trying any home remedies. Once you find out what it is, you'll be able to recognize it if it ever comes up again.
Please don't be nervous about the doctor. You're not going in for cancer treatment, right? Just a normal check-up. You'll be going to someone who sees patients like you 100 times a day and could do the appointment in his/her sleep.
A doctor's job is to help you.

The thing is, as your own bodys natural hormones change with time, so will your bodies reaction to the synthetic hormones you're putting into it. I, for one, have ALWAYS disagreed with doctors who say that skipping your period is totally fine and healthy. I have no medical degree to back that up..I have only my own body and experiences. Your body is smarter than anyone you could ask, if you truly listen to it. Normally I'd say "breakthrough bleeding" without a doubt due to your birth control pill. But because of the yellow you mention, I'd get it checked out by your gynecologist just to rule out any looking infections. That is NOT an area of your body you want to get an infection in.
