Thread: Microgestin(Loestra?) and a one day period, im terrified

Hi everyone,

I recently switched from Syronx(generic for Alesse?) to Microgestin FE1/20. I started taking the Microgestin the day after my last placebo pill in the Syronx pack. I am concerned because on the third placebo pill of Microgestin I started my period like normal, and then it only lasted a day. Is this normal when switching from a higher dose BC pill to a lower dose pill? I take my pill regularly everyday and practice safe sex. Please help me out with any information you may have, I'm going crazy worrying about being pregnant, and taking a pregnancy test just about gives me a heart attack. Thanks everyone.
