I think you need to talk to the people at the clinic about this. Different products have different requirements and how they act on your body when you first start taking it may be different than the results you get after being on it for a while.
My boyfriend & I are going to Chicago next weekend (Fri 6-18 - Mon 6-20). I have not started my period yet and I don't want it to happen all of a sudden when we are in Chicago. I plan on going to the clinic tomorrow to be put back on birth control. I know that when I used to take it, I had to start it on the Sunday after my period began.
What if my period has not started by this Sunday?
Is it okay for me to still take it?
Will my period be stopped until I take the "sugar pills?"

Since you are not on birth control right now your normal monthly non-pill period is due, if this is the week you are due for your regular period then no current period can be attributed to an irregular period. All women have irregular periods at some point. What if my period has not started by this Sunday?
As for taking the pill on a Sunday it is only suggested because it helps with keeping track of things. It does not matter if you start on a Sunday or a Thursday you will still be taking the same amount of pills, but starting it on a Sunday helps in case you miss a pill you can look at the packet as the first pill is usually printed as a Sunday.
Yes most likely, however breakthrough bleeding is still possible. Will my period be stopped until I take the "sugar pills?"
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
