I'm on the verge of freaking out. My husband and I were...ya know, in the shower and when we were done, we noticed this long red string on the side of the tub. I am having a light period and thought it was just a little blood and stuff, well after further inspection I saw it was indeed a string. I'm having no cramps or pain in my belly, but after looking at the Mirena images online, I am 95% sure the strings detached from the Mirena. Should I go get it removed right away? I'm on vacation right now and won't be back until the 14th of July. I've read about it poking into my uterus and stuff, and it's freaking me out. Will the Mirena stay in place without the strings??
