Hey, I decided that I want to get off birth control pills after I broke up with my boyfriend yesterday. So this is my questions:

    1. Could I stop taking my birth control pills tommorrow even though I had sex with him last on Sunday?

    2. How long would his semen be alive in my body?

    3. Would I be safe from pregnancy if I stopped now (mind you I will not be having sex with him or anyone else again in the near future)?

I'm saying this because I hate taking these things and I would want today to be my last day taking it so my cycle to start this month..

This is a general opinion forum.

What you are asking are pretty specific questions.

If I were you, I'd contact your prescribing physician's office and speak to a nurse about it.

Your body is a temple...treat it accordingly.
