It could not be less likely that you were pregnant, unless you didn't have sex.
My boyfriend and I had sex on July 6th and 11th. Both times I was on the pill and I have not missed a pill at all this month. Also, both times we used a condom lubricated with spermicide and on the 11th he still used the pull out method even though we had a condom. We even avoided when I should be ovulating. How likely or unlikely is it that I could be pregnant?

Well I'm a day late on my period... are we worrying too soon?
One day late? The body is not an atomic clock. It can fluctuate in all things cyclical. Even though the pill is suppose to keep your cycle regular and routine, things can vary a little bit.
I might be concerned if I were you when you are a lot late...like several days.
The pill is about 99% effective. Condoms are about 97%+ effective. Adding a spermicide increases their effectiveness by X%. Pulling out and depending on his timing for your protection is like playing with a loaded gun...a stupid idea - IMO.
The best person to answer this question is your physician but even they won't see you until your X days late...
Relax! Take some deep breaths.
S_A, the OP also used a condom on the day that her boyfriend pulled out.

One very important thing to know about the birth control pill is that it's sole purpose is to keep you from ovulating. It tricks your body into thinking it's pregnant so that you DON'T ovulate and that's why it's an effective form of preventing pregnancy. We even avoided when I should be ovulating.
When I was on the pill sometimes my period was like clockwork. Other times it varied. Since I've been off the pill and I do actually ovulate every month, my period still varies. Some months it comes on day 30, some months not until closer to day 40.
It's super important at a young age to learn your cycle and learn how your body works in there. It will save you ALOT of worry and grief.

"The next time you're thinking of kicking someone when they're down, offer them your hand and help them back up instead."
Hello, I just recently got put on an oral birth control about 3 weeks ago, so I haven't completed the first cycle of it yet. Me and my boyfriend have had sex quite a few times since then. He used a condom sometimes, but not every time. He ALWAYS pulls out before though, and in plenty of time. But for about 2 weeks I've been having mild cramps. Could this be my body adjusting to the pills? Also I've had just a tiny bit of brown discharge for about 2 days. My doc told me the spotting may happen due to just starting the pill. Please help me try to figure this out. I'm sooooooo worried!!!!!!
