    Default Birth control pills

I took birth control pills for the purpose of lessening my painful cramps for seven or eight years. Just a couple months ago, I stopped taking them, and my last period had very little blood and no pain (this came after a painful period shortly after I stopped with the pills). I also haven't had one in around four weeks, which is longer than usual.

Did the pills ultimatly screw with my body?

Hi Redhawk, I moved your thread to the Birth Control forum as I think you'll get more responses here. BC Pills can "screw" with your body, but so far what is proven scientifically is that the effects are short term once you go off the pill. So yes, it may take a while before the bc totally gets out of your system and your period OFF the pill may be very different than your period was on the pill. Give it some time. When I went off the pill, I went from feeling very "blah" to feeling quite amazing.

Redhawk, apparently bc pills usually screw up everybody when u stop taking them. I had to quit them, after 3 years, due to a medical condition and now I have a delay and don't know when to expect my next period to come. I don't even know if I might be pregnant now as I have not had it even I used a condom and I don't know what the chances are of becoming pregnant. The worst thing is that doctors are not able to tell us when to expect your period again, they can only say you should wait, and u don't know what else to do.

Its ok. I did the same thing. BC does mess with your body. When you go off it your bady has to get back to normal and that can take time. If you are worried about pregnancy go to the dollar tree or dollar general and get a pregnancy test for $1 and test. And yes the cheap ones do work. I have used them every time I have been pregnant and they have all been right!

I went 4 months without a period after I stopped my 5 years of pills, had 3 light months and now it has stopped again. Yes, it definitely takes your body awhile to re adjust.

Hey guys. I'm 13 just to start.
Well i was wondering if i should use birth controll even though i am not sexually active yet?
I had my VERY first period not to long ago. Also this sounds awkward but when you have your "firsttime"
Does it hurt when the cherry pops? Do you bleed?
I've heard horror storrys about it...
