Dark Red Spotting on Seasonique

Hi. Im 14 years old and in June i was perscribed Alesse by my gyno for my heavy periods. My period did not stop, and Alesse wasn't a high enough dose to lighten my period, and I kept spotting forEVER. So I went back at the beginning of August, and I got on Seasonique. My period didn't stop, and I'm currently spotting right now. The color is like dark red and the flow is lightish-medium, and my period is not due for another 2 weeks??
What's going on?

How heavy were your periods before you started any kind of birth control pill?

They were EXTREMELY heavy

I mean specifically? Like how many pads/tampons did you soak through per day? And how long did your period last? And are you overweight at all? I'm not sure why your doctor prescribed you birth control... considering he/she didn't even examine you? (I'm guessing this because your recent thread is about having an examination for the first time.) Honestly, doctors really irritate me sometimes.
