How to stop using BC
Hello, I have been on birth control for about 9 years. I'm currently on Tri-Previfem, which is a generic of Ortho Tricyclen. I would like to go off of bc this year, however, the last time I stopped taking it, I lost A LOT of my hair. I don't want to go through that again, so I'm wondering what is the proper way to ween myself off? Thanks!
There's no real weening process for birth control. I was the opposite, and lost alot of hair while taking the pill. Mine started to grow back nicely when I stopped taking it. The best way to stop taking the pill is to end a cycle, and just not start the next pack. Start taking something like a super potency biotin daily and hopefully that will help the hair growth.

I made an appointment today, but he can't see me until October 6. I'll be finished with this pack by then.
