Thread: Spotting for 3 weeks and no period

On aug 6 I had sexual intercourse with my husband of 6years the next day I was spotting dark red blood which from day to day has changed on color and amount.I had a pap in Jan and I recently went to the doctor for this reason and she gave me no explaination into why I'm spotting she just told me that all the test were negative it's been three weeks now and also no period, I had a normal period last month which started on the 17th and lasted about 4/5 days. Also I have a iud that I've had for almost 5 years in feb and since having it and my son iv missed at least 2 periods out of a year every year. Pls someone give me some advice

the only thing i can think of is maybe the iud. have a look at the iud threads and see if u can see anything similar being described.
