Hi all !! I am new to this site as of yesterday !!

I had the essure procedure done in november 2010 5 months after having my 4th child it seemed to go easy and straight forward ( boy was i wrong), 3 months after i had my xray and they said i was sucessfully scarred up.

I have always been regular with my cycle 28 days and i never had any spotting but since i had this procedure i spot the majority of the month and then have a full heavy period on day 28 However this month i had all the normal spotting and when it came to the day i was due on nothing and still nothing, I have a dull/tenderness in my left hand side of the pelvic area (which i have also had since having this procedure) and i have been to the drs a no of times but get nowhere except been put on the mini pill and tabs for period pains (which it is not period pains).

I was just wondering is there anyone else who is like this and also is it normal to just miss a period all of a sudden like that is it this procedure. They said it should not interfere with my cycle but it has done ( has i said i am always reg even the spotting comes on the days it is supposed to lol and never miss a period)

    Thanks for listening nicki x

I also had the procedure done in November 2009, I've been regular, but this month has been very rare, lighter than usual and I have been dizzy which I never am... I guess you should see another doctor and explain, I would guess that the coils damage your ovaries or tubes and that was what the spotting was about, but in a few months it should have been heal. Lots of positive thoughts your way!
