Default Bleeding Everyday Since Starting BC? Help!

I started birth control at the beginning of September and have not missed a pill. I take the pill at the same time everyday (within 1 1/2 hours). For the past two and a half weeks, I have been experiencing slight bleeding EVERY DAY (not enough for a tampon but I have to wear a pantiliner everyday). Some days it is just brown spots, or occasionally it is light red a little bit more. I have tried to get in contact with my doctor but she's impossible to get in touch with.. so does anyone have any thoughts about this? Definitely not normal right?!
It's getting in the way of me being able to be intimate with my boyfriend and just my everyday life!

It doesn't sound so much as bleeding, but rather spotting.

Your body is also adjusting to the hormones that you are putting into it. You need to give your body time to continue to adjust.

However, it is possible that your body may just not like this type of pill and you may have to experiment with different kinds. Continue trying to get a hold of your Dr or at least call and ask to speak to a nurse.

I am actually having the same problem and it is a right pain in the butt. I totally understand where you are coming from.
My doctor said it is normal to be spotting blood but I know what you mean it wont go away it drives me insane.
I would go and see your doctor about it if it continues because I dont think it is actually normal for it to happen all the time.

I agree with Lana that this is spotting. If it continues for a month or more straight, I would wager that it'd be best to switch to a different brand, as the current one isn't working.

It's "normal" in the sense that this IS what happens when your body doesn't agree with your birth control. It happens to a lot of women.
