so ive been taking ortho tri cyclen lo for about 2 years. and i used to take it everyday same time, but the last year ive been forgetting and i'll take 2 pills at a time or sometimes even 3. almost once a week im forgetting. but ive been fine no pregnancies. the past 2 months i decided to skip my inactive pills, to skip my period. and well this month i took them and im 3 days into my new pack and still no period. should it automatically come back when i take the inactive pills or what could be the delay. could my forgetting have caught up to me? i have a 4 year old i know the symptoms and i feel none. lol

Any time you veer off the set schedule of taking one pill a day, same time, as well as the inactive pills, you are risking delaying your period. Your body's just confused at the moment from the extra hormones at a time when you'd be on the sugar pills. I doubt you are pregnant, but if your period doesn't come in a couple of weeks just take a home pregnancy test to ease your mind.
