Default Spotting black blood... how grose :(

I have just finished my period on Sunday and had just started going on the pill the following Tuesday when my period started.
My period has gone but it still comes back in small amounts of spotting plus I am getting period pelvic pain, back pain and even knee pain sort of like I have the flu but its obvious its period pain. I just finished my period though and the pain is still there.

But what freaked me out more was spotting literally blood the colour or black, it was really grose and worrying. Is this normal?

I am on the pill btw to manage my period pain as it had recently got worse and to reduce the severity of my pms moods.

Can someone please tell me what I am experiencing is normal? because I am confused and worried

I think the darker the blood the older it is and the lighter and redder the newer it is. Maybe left over blood from your period??
