Thread: No period on birth control pill

I just started taking birth control pills about a month ago. When it came time to take the placebos, I took them, and waited, and still never got my period. What if I start my period right before I'm supposed to start a new pack? Do I start a new pack while on my period or wait another week? Is it common not to get your period until late?

I should try taking a pregnancy test, I know, but what if that comes out negative and I still never get my period?

Not having your period on birth control is perfectly normal. I have only had a few periods in the two years I've been on birth control, both the pill and the shot. But if you are concerned, you should take to your doctor also to see if there isn't anything else wrong.
