Hi everyone,

In February I'm due to have a new Implanon implant put in my arm. This will be my second Implanon implant given I choose to go ahead with this form of birth control.

I've had few to little problems with Implanon, however, just this year I noticed a definite change in bleeding and my cycle (for the most part, and in earlier times, my bleeding had normalised and found a pattern).
I often get two periods now (joy!) and will often have a week of no period in between this time. Still, I dread everytime I get my period as I know another one will shortly be due to come.

I suppose what I'm asking is- has anyone had Implanon reinserted and had different bleeding changes to the last time?
I've been very lucky in terms of my Implanon this time around- aside from the the previously mentioned item- and feel like I'm playing Russian roulette with getting it inserted again.


I know I can get it removed- but I was just hoping to learn about other people's experiences. I'm realising it will most likely change- but I just wondered how much it has for other people.
