Question about missed birth control
I am on tri cyclen lo, and I missed two pills in a row because I wasn't able to get a new pack right away. I got it on Tuesday, but by that time I missed Sunday and Monday's pill. The package said to take two pills on the day I remember (Tuesday) and two pills the next day (Wednesday) to be caught up. I did exactly that. However, I completely missed Friday night's pill. I took it today (Saturday). It says on the packaging, if you miss three white pills in a ROW to start a new pack. I've technically have missed three white pills in the first week, but not in a ROW. Do I still need to start a new pack? Or do I just keep taking them like normal but use back up for a week? We've been using back up anyway since I missed those initial two pills. We will keep using back up for a couple of weeks, but I just need to know if I need to start a new pack or not.
Basically it breaks down like this:
Sunday/Monday - MISSED
Tuesday - TOOK TWO
Wednesday - TOOK TWO
Thursday - Took ONE
Friday - MISSED
Saturday - Took Friday's missed one, but not my normal Saturday's yet.
I can't get a hold of my doctor until Monday.

It is if you miss three in a row, you did not miss three in a row so you will be okay. However you will need to find a method or change up your time that you take the pill from now on so you remember to take them because playing catch up several times over and over again is not the way the pill should be taken.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
