Thread: Depo and Pregnancy?

Hello.

I've only had my first depo shot and I'm a little curious about something. Could I be p regnant? I was on my period before I got the shot, but I also had sex (while on my period, YUCK! I know. but had protected sex) the condom broke. I was due to get my shot two days after that, so i went to get my shot.

You know you have to take a pregnancy test before you can recieve the depo, soooo i took the test. It must had came out neg. cause next thing i know i was getting poked. My period stopped a day or two after that and started again 2 weeks later (approx.) My period stayed on and is still going prior to that, which i know (prolonged bleeding) is a side effect, so not really worried about that part. but last month sometime i just started to spot as if my period was about to end. It'll stop for a few hours then be right back on. One morning I woke up and felt terrible. Migrane, nausea, and cramps! Still continuous bleeding.

I took some pain killers felt a lot better, but had no apetite. (It was thanksgiving!) The next day felt better naturally, no painkillers and had a slight apetite. Now up to date. Terrible abdominal cramps, medium bleeding, but my abdomen is slight hard is some areas. No movement though. I did the math, if i did somehow get pregnant before the depo i would be 3month preggo. (I Think.) *shruggs* My next appointment is the 14th of this month. Guess I'll find out there. Just let me know you're opinion.
