Long story short, I have had a Mirena IUD for 5 years. I got it removed on 12.01. I started bleeding on 12.03. I have been bleeding since. Very heavy w/ clots [so sorry for the TMI] I was due to come on my normal cycle somewhere between 12.09 - 12.11. I read that this could be withdrawal bleeding or my regular cycle. The bleeding had gotten a little lighter but I noticed it picked back up today... My question is, is there a way to distinguish withdrawal bleeding from my normal cycle? If this is withdrawal bleeding will I then come on my period as normal? I only ask b/c as I said the bleeding has started picking back up... clots and all.
