long story short, i have the paragard iud for pregnancy prevention but i plan on removing it this coming january for personal reasons. i have been on several different pills in the past & none of them seem to "agree with me" (headaches, mood swings, etc.). the only pill that has been effective in not sending my hormones through the ceiling was yaz (which i took for 8 months with no problems), but my doctor doesn't prescribe it to his patients anymore because of all the lawsuits filed on yaz for their potentially dangerous side effects. i'm tired of the whole "trial & error" method of finding a pill that's right for me, but it is neccisary i get on a new form of birth control soon so my boyfriend and i don't have any "accidents" after the paragard is removed... and since the yaz seemed to work well for me i don't know if there are any similar birth control pills out there that may be an option for me. any suggestions?
