Thread: Very Confused

So the girlfriend and I had sex about 3 weeks ago. She was on her period at the time and I used a condom. She is also on birth control and has been for close to 8 months now and the pill she is on is called aviane. My question is she told me last night that her breast have been sore and she has gained a few pounds. My thought is that its probably stress and holiday food lol but shes got me kinda worried. What are the chances shes pregnant?

As low as you could possibly get without total abstinence.

1. If she is on the pill, taking it regularly and not on any type of antibiotic then she is not ovulating. If she's not ovulating, she can't get pregnant.

2. In addition to the fact that shes on the pill and doesn't ovulate, you used a condom which decreases the chance of pregnancy to almost 0.

She is most likely experiencing a hormonal reaction to her birth control pills. When I was on them, there were some months I experienced that and other months I didn't. Some pills I was on caused my breasts to be sore and swell, and caused me to gain a few lbs. I'd say you can rest assured that this gal isn't pregnant.
