Default I don't know what to do about going on another type of pill!

    Hello

Last year around may, me and my boyfriend decided it was a good idea for me to go on the conception pill. I went on microgynon pill and got really bad side affects to it... mood swings, crying all the time, angry etc. i have OCD so i don't think it made that better. I went to the nurse and she just said ' it was my age ' and didn't change my pill to another one. I carried on using it and got worse and worse. After a while i decided to go off it. I was speaking to my boyfriend again about trying another conception pill and he said it's up too you but i know what you was like last time and i wouldn't like to see that again. Microgynon just messed with my hormones to much, maybe because i'm only 17.

I really want to go on the pill to protected me more from getting pregnant.

Is their anything out there that won't mess up my hormones so much?

I know i should just go doctors, but it scares me that they will put me on something else and be like i was last year

    Thank you

    xxx

Nobody knows you, or should know you, better than your primary care physician.

Since you are interested in engaging in physical intimacy with your boyfriend, and appear to be quite mature about it, I think it's time you had a mature conversation with your physician about it too.

There are tons of good people in here with lots of good advice but keep in mind this is merely an advice forum.

The 'best' advice in this matter will probably come from your primary care physician (and not his/her nurse).

Keep coming back. This forum is a great place with lots of caring people.

It is possible that your primary care physician wants you to use "that" pill because there is a benefit for them. Not an accusation, just stating the possibility. They can be very pushy towards a "specific" type of BC.

Everyone reacts differently to BC Pills and that's why there are soooo many different versions/options. What works for one person might be terrible for another (i.e. Microgynon). YOU know YOUR body's normal state the best-- if you have tried it and you don't like the way your body is reacting, demand they give you something else. You can always go to a different primary care physician and they will prescribe something different.

Unhappy For all of you guys who have helped me cope with pet-loss

    Hello everybody,

Just wanted to let you know that after trying to overcome my pet-loss, I had to deal once again with another stressfull situation with one of my other babies. Max's little sister (Lucy), had to go through surgery more than a week ago. It was so devastating also for the family. Fortunately now, she's doing much better. We found a new vet, and he immediately diagnosed her with some cysts in her little uterus and after some lab studies and a sonogram, he found out that she should have her uterus and tubes removed so we could prevent a major infection that is similar to a peritonitis infection.
Luckily, she recovered very fast after the surgery, but again, we lived once again two very stressful and difficult days, just remembering how Max got sick and suffered a couple of days before he left us.
I still have very sad moments when I remember my little Max, my baby.

This text box looks funny compared to previous but it auto saves ?

See how I took your mind off that for just a second?

My thoughts are, you were scared I understand, but better prepared, you sought out another vet. And, once over you were totally relieved.

Your little baby didn't die in vain, we've covered that but in addition, he allowed you to find the right vet for his sister

    CW,
Once again, thanks a lot for your replies. You guys have been so sweet and supportive.
Yes indeed, apparently our new vet is for more, a better one. Now, we are a little bit more relaxed and confident with him. You are sweet, and right, maybe my little Max guided us to this new vet who was more assertive on Lucy. He looks much more better on his job.

PS I don't know what happened with my posting but yes, it now shows a little message "auto saved", and I don't know why.

It's the right way to see it, I can see him smile

I believe this is a new version of what we previously had, if it can auto save, man, imagine, no more losing what you post

CW is correct, sometimes we lose one.. For a reason.. And later on we find the reason. It doesn't take away the sadness of loss, but it can help you adjust to the fact that there is a Reason for everything.

You should change your nickname to No Doubt .. lol Hugz to you, prayers on the way for the Other Puppy.

Thanks a lot for your kind words too. Luckily, Lucy is now doing much better. She´s playing, eating and running as if nothing happened to her.
My other baby is doing fine, although he is more relaxed as he is older too.
I love my babies, although my little Max will never be forgotten. He's still in my heart and in my thoughts. I still figure him running around the house, playing, asking for food, etc. We miss him so much, still trying to figure out what we did wrong...
Anyway, we are trying to overcome such a sad loss.
