Default Help!!!!! I am freaking out

    HI!

I was on birth control pills for almost three years. I stopped three months ago. The first two months I had a cycle of 30 days, and now I am late 4 days. The week before my period was due I thought it has come early but it was too little, almost like a discharge.
I am sexually active but using condoms (lets remember condoms are not 100% safe).
Could I be pregnant? Am I late because I stopped using birth control pills? Is that "discharge" normal?

    Thanks for your help!

    Question

After I got off of B/C my periods got really messed up too. I have them about every two weeks and they are really lite. I have no cramping or anything. When I was on B/C I had the worst periods you could ever imagine. That is part of the reason I got off. But... that might not be your case. I would wait until you are supossed to start your period and take a home test. Good Luck and keep us updated!

Ohh... I forgot to mention that my bestfriend got off of B/C....long story... but anyways she had sex with her boyfriend only three times and each time with a condom... she is now 2 1/2 months pregnant.. Not to scare you or anything. But condoms aren't that reliable.

If you are using condoms you are taking some precautions, but I agree condoms are not 100% effective. Alot of things can influence your cycle including stress, exercise, diet etc...I know it is not always easy, but the best course of action is to try to stay calm and if you do not start within the next week or so then you may want to get a pregnancy test. If you have any future relations before you start your period definately continue using the condoms.
