Thread: COPPER IUD - Need help asap

Hi ladies,

Not had much response with last post so thought id try again I need some guidance.

I had a copper iud fitted on the 14th June, i had unprotected sex last time on the 24th June I have done 2 preg tests both negative but i know its to early to tell... I plan on doing one this coming sunday which will be 2 weeks exact. I called the docs they said all they will do is a urine test as well so there is no point me booking an app yet.

I was due for my period from the 29th June, but so far have only had LIGHT bleeding here and there, nothing to what I was expecting, people said you will bleed loads so much pain etc etc but looking on here, other people have copper iud fitted and have delayed or light periods. 1%

To much info but at the moment I think I have a kind of urine infection, pain in my abdomen, pain when passing urine too, but I have bought some stuff from the chemist and some cranberry Juice so I dont think thats much to do with anything.

I saw online about an eptopic pregnancy and people said you will have cramping and light bleeding so now im thinking do I have that!??! then I also heard if your around a week pregnant you will get light bleeding also .....

Im so confused here, Its so annoying having to wait another week to test ... I heard this is 99% effective but what if i am that 1%
