I was recently with a friend of mines in a sexual way....things got hot and heavy pretty fast and needless to say we didn't use any protection. I am an over protective during sex freak but he seemed to be having problems with the condom. At one point it was just very uncomfortable (tight) for him then he was experiencing a problem with keeping an erection.

Question: What can we do about this problem as well as can you get pregnant while on the pill?

    Thanks,
    STRESSED &: confused:

You can get pregnant using ANY kind of birth control! NONE of them are 100% effective. Not even having your tubes tied is 100% effective. Birth control is definately not 100% effective and neither are condoms. You are just significantly reducing your risk by using those things. But you won't find any better solution so you just have to pick whatever is going to work best for you. It sounds to me like he needs a bigger condom. They do make larger condoms for bigger men. You might want to look into that first. If the condom is too tight, it can definately cause problems for him. My personal opinion is that condoms are healthier because they do not manipulate your hormone balance. But, there is always the chance that they could break. That sad truth is that you are always going to be playing with fire no matter what method of birth control you use.
