I've been on my Birth Control pill Seasonique for about 7 or 8 months now, and I started to 'spot' on the 10th of Jan. My only problem is , is that I'm STILL 'spotting'. The blood varies from light pink to a deep dark red. There isn't a constant flow like a normal period. I only go through about 2 tampons (Small) a day. Most of the time there is only a little blood and just brown discharge. The past two days I haven't experienced any bleeding. But then again tonight, I had the deep red blood just once or twice when I wiped. But still its becoming annoying. I've talked to my doctor about it, but he simply told me to finish out my pack (5 days left) have my scheduled period and then start out on my next 3 month packet. My only concern is, does this sound normal to anyone else? Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm not 100% sure if it's normal with the Seasonique birth control pills but when I used the Depo shot the doctor told me it was normal. It was actually one of the side effects. You may want to ask your doctor again, seeing as it didn't start for a while.
