Thread: Getting a tubal?

Hi,

I'm 35 and am pretty sure, like 99% I'll not have kids deliberately?
I'm thinking of finding a way to get a tubal now. I don't want to do other forms of BC anylonger. Has anyone else gotten one younger or never had kids and chosen this, how did it go?

I am like you and I do not want children. I have checked into many methods and found out about Essure. The doctor's in WV will not do a sterilization on someone my age (27) for fear that I will change my mind. I hope that once I move, and get my insurance back that I will find a doctor that will preform the procedure. Essure is permanent, but without all the downtime that a normal tubal has.
