Only took one dose of ECP..just a few questions!

Ok Ill give all the details I can.

I recently had a little accident with my boyfriend while having sex. I was able to get the ECP about an hour or so after. I took the ecp but COMPLETELY forgot to take the second dose 12 hours later and remembered after the 72 hours was over. (stupid right? Ive had a hectic traveling schedule and have had a million different things on my mind!)

anyways,

5 days after taking the pills I got my period...or so I thought. The fluids are the same color and everything it just was lighter than usual so Im wondering if this could be spotting? (sorry if these are gross details just trying to figure this out)

Im also having many of the symptoms such as cramping, bloating, mood swings, etc.

Basically Im wondering if this is a sign of pregnancy(could be implantation bleeding)? Or if these are side effects of the ECP even though I only took ONE dose?

The day the accident happened was about the 9th or 10th day into my cycle. Just want to know if anyone has had anything similar to this or has any information before I go to the doctor. Thanks!

Those are all normal symptoms of menstrual cycles (your period). The ECP has just made them more pronounced and effected your cycle slightly. Changes in the color/texture of your blood is normal for all women and is not really related to becoming pregnant.
