Just wondering if anyone knew if Yasmin is monophasic or not. Ans also, what are some of the monophasic ones?

Yes they are. Monophasic pills are pills that are all 1 color (except the inactive pills) Every active pill contains the same amount of hormone. The most common Monophasic birth control pills include: Alesse, Demulin 30, Minovral, Cyclen, Marvelon and Diane 35. Yasmin is supposed to be better for women who suffer from PMDD.

Someone suggested a monophasic pill may not make migraines worse as a triphasic would. I was on yasmin and got migraines and now that i went off it i don't get them anymore so that is why I was wondering. It was suggested that the Nuva RIng might not worsen migraines since it is a steady amount of hormones for the three active weeks and you don't get the peaks and leveling of hormones you would get from a triphasic. But I guess that theory wouldn't work with the Yasmin since it was a monophasic and I still got the migraines
