Question Question about starting pill pack late

Hi, I was supposed to start my new pill pack on Sunday, but due to various reasons I didn't start it until Wednesday. Does anyone know what I should do in this situation? I've gotten alot of different information, from simply starting it and using backup for 7 days, to waiting until my next cycle. Does anyone know if I just start taking them if it will screw up my hormones? I just don't want to do something that's a bad idea. Thanks!

Well, I'm really hoping that you've figured out what to do by now, as it's been several days. I'm going to reply though, for others who might need the same information. According to the instructions I have here in front of me: If you miss 3 or more active pills in a row and are a Sunday Starter, you would need to keep taking one pill a day until Sunday. On Sunday, throw out the rest of the pack and start a new pack of pills that same day.
It also says, "You may not have your period this month but this is expected. However, if you miss your period 2 months in a row, call your doctor because you might be pregnant. You may become pregnant if you have sex in the 7 days after you miss pills. You must use another form of birth control as a back-up for those 7 days."

There you go. Hope you figured out your problem earlier though.
