Hello,
I'm trying to avoid getting pregnant, so along with a condom and oral contraceptives, I am trying to figure out when I would be ovulating. I heard that he mucus stretches during ovulation but what color is it? Also, with ovulation kits, when do you begin them and what are their price ranges? I also heard the feel of the cervix is different and when I am ovulating, when can I start having sex again? When does ovulation usually occur from the day of you mentration starting?

If your periods are regular then you can use a tracking website. I use MyMonthlyCycles - Menstrual Calendar, Ovulation Calendar, Fertility Cycles I have been using that to judge my fertile times for the last 15 months. Then to avoid pregnancy I use condoms during fertile time. I have them warn me about being fertile 2 days before and I check the ovulation calendar and extend my fertile days 2 more past the last day. Just to be sure

Personally I get ovulation pain when my egg is being released so I always know when its happening. However you are fertile a few days before it and after it, so I couldnt judge on just that. The website helps me with the basic timeframe.

BTW-What you would be looking for is egg white cervical mucous (EWCM) which is very sticky and stretchy.
