    Unhappy Pill....help!

Hi, Ive been on the pill for a few years now (Microgynon 30 where I have a 7 day break for my period after taking 28 pills). Anyway, 2 saturdays ago I took my first pill after my 7 days of no pills and continued taking a pill every morning like i usually do. But on Sunday Morning I looked at my pills and realised that I had forgotten to take my Pill on the Saturday. So I just took the Sunday pill.

A few hours later I had really bad pains but thought nothing of it and then I had some bleeding. And now I have been bleeding pretty heavily since last sunday. I carried on taking my pills just in case everything was ok.

All I need to know is how many pills do I take now? I have now had 2 periods in 3 weeks and now only have one week of pills left.

(I am on Penicillin so I am using condoms because it stops the pill working properly)

Does this make any sense? If so please help!!

I have to wait at least a week before I can get a doctors appointment these days.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks :-)

It's ok! You just need to continue taking your pills as you normally would. Try not to skip anymore and just keep taking them on the days you are supposed to. Birth control can sometimes make cycles irregular for the first several months. It just takes some time for your hormone levels to balance out. If still in doubt, verify that with a phone call to your doctor.
