Thread: The pill to stop your period

Hey ladies,
This might be a question but i want to go on the pill so i don't get my period next month. My friend told me that because i've already had my period this month (so my next one should be the want that i want to miss), it won't actually work.
I spoke to a pharmacist and she says it should be fine.
I thought i'd check here before i visit the doctor.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Dude my mom said that when she was on the pill it made her periods lighter for awhile but a couple years later for awhile it was like KILLER heavy. But then again this was in like the 70s times have changed so hopefully they aren't as bad. Then again just cuz it happened to her doesn't mean it will to you. It still freaks me out though I already have heavy flows like mom did so I'm like, yeah when I have sex I'll just stick with the condom thanks. :] Good luck with it all.
