Birth control help PLEASE!
I recently took an extra week of the white pills in my birth control cycle to avoid having my period on vacation because I was told that I could. After the extra week of white pills I went back to the schedule and tool by brown pills. I did not have my period at this time. I started back up on my next pack of pills which was actually a different brand and have been feeling crampy and occasional nausea. I was wondering how taking the extra week of white pills would have effected me and if this is at all normal. Any information will help.
Thanks

If you changed brands after the week of extra pills , look to that as the reason you dont feel well . Most pills have the same side effects but will effect you differently . You can always ask your doctor about it , but they generally tell you to wait 3 months , or until the new brand has worked into your system . Personally , I couldnt wait the 3 monthes because they made me so sick . However , I do suggest you consider the brand change , particularly if it changed the hormone doses .
