I started ortho cyclen four months ago. Originally when I started I started on a Wednesday and kept this Wednesday start for the first three packs. On my fourth pack, I did a Sunday start, as directed by my doctor, simply to skip periods on the weekends. Well, now I am on that fourth pack still and two days ago started seeing a dark brown discharge. It is three days before I am even due to be on the placebo pills. So, Im still on my horomonal pills and this discharge has basically turned into a blood, or my period.

I am wondering why my period came early? Do you think the dosage is not strong enough for me> I have never had any spotting before this. They say its normal in the first few months but this is the fourth month? Any thoughts would be helpful and appreciated.
