    Question Should I worry

I am on Ortho Tri Cyclyn and have been on it since June 9th.I decided to skip my period for the July 4th weekend, but I didn't know that I would get my period anyway since there are three levels of hormones. When I got to the "inactive" pills I just went to the next hormone pill but I got my period anyway. I was with my boyfriend mid July and we didn't use any protection. My period is due now but it is a little late. I took a pregnancy test just to make sure (it has been 17 days since I was last with him and it was negative), so should I worry about being pregnant or are the pills since I skipped them just throwing my system off?

I forgot to mention that I have NEVER missed a pill and I always take it at the same time each day.

I have continued to take my pills as I always have and I am exactly 11 pills from the "inactive" pills for the month of August.

I'm sorry I keep forgetting to add some info. The last day of my period was on July 6th
When you are afraid of something just know that you are going for something that is worth it.

I have alter my periods before and that has happen. My Doc told me to just keep taking the pill and things should go back to normal. If they do not go back to normal by the time you finish your pack for the month then go see your doc.

Oh what I have noticed when I alter my periods or skip them for the month is that If I am off taking my pill just a second I can get my period. Usually my body goes back to normal after a finish the whole next pack.
