Default BC vs Antibiotics

I take birth control pills for menstrual symptoms. I know that while taking antibiotics, the pills don't work as a contraceptive, but do antibiotics interfere with the easing of menstrual symptoms? I didn't get a chance to ask the doctor before she prescribed them.

Nope! I was concerned with this last year when I got a severe sinus infection and had to go on Diflucan. My doctor said it may tamper with contraception but that's all!
