I am 23 and have endo for 6 years now. I had my last laprascope in March and since have been on my birth control continuosly with no period. For about the last month though I started to get really bad pains and seeing the occasional spotting. I thought maybe it would just pass, but in the last 2 weeks I have notice some clumps of something when I use the washroom. I do have a dr. appointment comming up on 15th, but I thought If someone could tell me what was going on I could prepare myself, If this isnt normal. Thanks

Are you seeing the clumps during your period and do they appear to be dark or filled with blood? Sort of looks like flesh? If so, then this is normally just the shedding of the lining of the uterine wall. As your hormones change throughout life, so does the thickness of the lining. So some women will see clumps and some will not. With the changing of the lining comes changes in other symptoms such as cramping. So it is highly likely that you are experiencing normal period symptoms, they are just slightly different now. The best thing to do though is to see your doctor if you have not already done so. They can verify that what you are experiencing is normal.
