I've just gotten back from Mexico and will be glad to actually be part of the boards again and get back to my admin duties.
I've been out of the conversation for a long time now and it'll take me a while to get the feel and jump back in, but I hope you all missed me as I missed you all and will welcome me back in

He just walked out that door ... and won't walk in again for a long time.
I said goodbye with poise and grace and kept it together long enough for him to walk past the open window ... maybe ... hopefully.
And now it's back to one day at a time. He wasn't here long enough ... he's never here long enough.

France was great, but I am happy to be home. I like America. What can I say? I LOVE America. Hotels have washcloths here and you can drink from the tap with a smile on.
I get a few days of the boyfriend before he goes to his base ... and inevitably deploys for the summer.
It's all good. I hope everybody enjoys the blog function
