Rediscovered, you should take a look at Tantra. Many male practitioners learn to orgasm without ejaculating.

I haven't read it, but I work at a bookstore and people buy it and embarrassingly ask for it al the time.

I personally don't feel like I need that much improvement in that area, to buy a whole book on the subject, but it looks both entertaining and informative. I'm considering it.

I don't know how that one missed this list but it's been brought up in threads before. It's a good beginner book, but it's one sided. Why do women seem to be so much more interested in how to pleasure a man than men are in how to pleasure women?

You know, if you find a good book you can add it on to the list here.

    Thumbs up

I purchased "The Cosmo Kama Sutra" back during Christmas time because it was on a huge sale and I get an employee discount on top of that (yay! for being a bookseller). My bf and I haven't looked into it yet, but I've been perusing it on my own and it seems to be a really good source of information for new couples, or couples that need to try new things.

There are countless Kama Sutra books, but if you're going to start with one, this should be it. The models aren't overwhelming because they are cartoons instead of super-sexy fantasy men and women. Don't you just hate that? It's really hard to look at an attractive couple performing a position and thinking, "Wow, I can definitely do that and look just as good!"... NOT.

But seriously, the positions start with basics and move up in difficulty and flexibility. There's also another Cosmo book just on positions to perform in water, if that's your thing lol.

Overall, I recommend this book for new couples, or couples that need some creativity.

We haven't used it yet because once we start, we make stuff up as we go and that works for us. lol

Recently finished, Exploring Intimacy, by Suzann Paneck Robbins. This is not specifically about sex but about how we interact and establish different kinds of intimacy. It's a good book but a slow read as it is fairly academic. It is well worth reading. I've met Suzann and she is just dynamite. A really great lady and so perceptive and sharing. I'm hoping to encourage her to write one more for the mass market as she has so much to offer.

Reading, How I Got Into Sex. This is an interesting collection of stories from people who work in various fields related to sex. Many are therapists, researchers, activists and others are sex toy designers, prostitutes and criminologists. I find the stories from people who were involved in sex education and reseach early really interesting. What some transgendered people have gone through just amazing. They've faced prejudist and difficulties living in the wrong body and have worked to create a good life for themselves. It makes me so glad to know things are changing, however slowly and to want to contribute as I can to create a more sex positive world.
