Default Any suggestions?

Has anyone read any good books lately?? I mean real page turners... I've
been trying to find a good book for a while now but every time i start one
i lose interest really quickly and put it down.. I dont know when the last
time i actually finished a book was.. Anyway my sister is a big Norah
Roberts fan, so she keeps telling me to read one of her books but I'm not
sure which one to read.. Any suggestions?

Barbara Kingsolver is good. Ellis Peters' is good historical fiction detective stuff. HOw about Tony Hillerman, when he has a new one out, I usually finish it that day, I can't put him down! Sex in History is a fun read. What do you like?

I’m a pretty big Nora Roberts fan myself so II think any books by her would be a good start but my favorite ones were Vision In White, which is about a wedding photographer and has some drama of her own, and Northern Lights which was an unexpected love story in Alaska. But it really depends on your taste in books.

I read Nora Roberts book Northern Lights. Thought it was pretty decent. They are actually making it into a movie.. so I’ll probably check it out to compare.

Ohhh thanks for the great advice! That movie looks like it is going to be pretty good. Im definately going to watch it tomorrow night so i can get a taste of how Nora Roberts writes. Then I can decide if her books would be right for me. I cant wait!

So did anyone else check out the movie?? What did you think??? I liked the movie. Yes it wasn't like the book. Nora's books are rich with information and excitement, you could not fit everything into the two hours. But overall I I enjoyed watching the movie.

Yea I agree it was missing a lot of the visuals which you get when you read Nora's books, because like you said they tend to be very descriptive. But I think that's pretty common with every book made into a movie. I also enjoyed watching it though... not too shabby for Lifetime. They are premiering another one this week I believe...but I didn't read that one.

the only good thing about that movie was jerry o'connell- he was the only reason why i kept watching the movie..

I caught a movie on A&E and felt that it did better than Midnight Bayou. lol
