I heard about that on NPR. It's interesting.

I am reading Chakras for Beginners by David Pond.

I read the original story that the movie based on "I Am Legend" is based on. Is that story darker? (The written story being darker than the movie.)

    Has anyone read it?
I haven't but I would be willing to bet top dollar the WC has. She would be pretty familiar with John Grey's work.

Also a question for WC (if she finds this), is John Grey's ex wife a women's support specialist? I can't remember her name but I think she's fairly well known.

As for my own reading preferences, it's not worth posting. Not many people gravitate to political sciences for recreational reading.

Found what I was looking for,

John Gray's first wife (excuse the typo above) is Barbara DeAngelis, Ph.D. and is herself an expert in relationships.

    Just an update.

Okay, so I finally got my book from the Library on Saturday, and I have been quite busy, so I have only read 3 chapters. So far, the book is excellent!! It has explained so much on how different men and women are, and how we always forget how different we are! Amazing book!

I'm reading an oldie on menapause; Silent Passage. Since my emotional melt down over a relationship change I started, literally overnight, getting hot flushes. So I've started to get more education on this.
Think I need to get more exersize and yoga back into my schedule, start meditating again, get my diet back in line and slap myself around a bit LOL. No I got careless and stressed - it takes a toll. I think I may try evening primrose oil too.

I've read them both. Barb and John. Found good stuff in both. They couldn't make it work together but have successfully moved on. With any of this, you can't take it as a how to manual (wouldn't it be lovely if we could get those on specific people?) there will be things that strike a chord and you just know are right about your situation. There will also be things you may find yourself feeling defensive about and those may bear a closer look - it may be nonsense (these people do write to make money in the popular market) or it may be what you are resisting and need to change.

I like John because when I first read one of his books he was so on target about women and I figured that then he must know something about men as well.

I am currently reading Lauren Willig's Pink Carnation series. If you are a fan of historical fiction, spy novels and romances, then you'll enjoy these books. They are all three!!!
