Right so going to be separated from the boyfriend for about 3 months starting this Saturday, and while I'm not happy about it (first time being apart), I'm also starting to get excited about doing certain things I otherwise wouldn't have had time for.
Right now I'm stocking up on things to watch and read. When I'm in a funk, a good romance novel (which I normally don't read) can really lift my spirits - any suggestions?? I really want something that's not too cheesy, you know? Something that's written well, that sets it apart from the billions of similar novels out there.
I haven't seen many old films and am looking for some of those - I recently got "City Lights" from 1931... Haven't seen too many musical movies either, so might get "My Fair Lady"...
I'd like to get into some show, too; at the moment I like Six Feet Under and recently got Spartacus to see what that was all about...
So, suggestions?? I'd be grateful for any!!
I recently found Catherine Anderson books at a local Goodwill shop that sells only books. Good author.
