Thread: The Jersey Shore.. How the heck did I get hooked?

I'll admit it. I like watching TV, but usually stick to the more "educational" programming, like National Geographic and the History Channel.

But for some fandangled reason, I have been completely sucked into the craziness that is The Jersey Shore reality show. I can't for the life me of tell you why I like this show - it is pointless, crass, I have NOTHING in common with any of the "roommates" ie cast members, I know many of the situations are scriped... ever fiber of my being says the show is trash, and yet I tune in each week to watch the casts' shinannigans!

I probably lose more brain cells watching that show for an hour a week than I would drinking all the beer in Milwaukee.

Does anybody else feel the same? It's almost like a feeling of closeted shame for enjoying such garbage!

And PS - anybody catch the episode last night? Pauly cracked me up with that answering machine prank he pulled and the stalker! LMAO
