I just finished “Two Kinds of Color,” on my Kindle, by Deborah Kennedy. It was a novel I couldn't put down. I loved the way the writer uses God in a supernatural way that moves the story, and makes it even more compelling. I usually don't read anything from indie authors, but this novel had me on the edge of my seat. I found myself rooting for this multiracial family, in which two of the main character’s children are white, and two of them are black. I was so pleased when finding out that one of the characters didn't commit the crime. The ending blew me away. This was a truly raw and great novel.
