Has anyone else read the book? No one I know has, and I want to discuss some of the book. I really loved the way Kim Edwards set up the book going back and forth between families. I wonder how this is going to transfer to film. Lifetime is airing it this Sunday night at 9. I'm curious because Kim gave her Ok for the film, so I'm sure it stays pretty true to the plot.

I watched it and liked it but I still prefer the book to the movie. The movie covered a lot of major events in the book but it's just different. Movies leave out so much detail.

Normally I would agree with what you said, comparing books to movies, but I really enjoyed this TV movie. I thought the cast was great and the story was so heartfelt and emotional that I couldn't unglue myself from teh screen.
