Surgery Update

Well I got home from the hospital about an hour ago.

I had the cold knife cone surgery. And My Doctor ended up having to take a lot more of the cervix then she originally thought. I have about two inches left. I have to take it easy for a few days. But I will find out if it was cancer in a few days. She said it was more extensive than she thought in the beginning. I also am now just praying it is not cancer, and I can still have kids.

well do what the DR says take it easy. rest don't over do it. I hope you get the results you want. keep us posted. I go for my check up May 14th. They will let me know what the cells have done over the last year. I had that done last year.

Thanks for sharing and so soon after getting back home as well....

If you feel teary, or needing to talk to someone you know we are here, it would be natural to still have some fear and also feel quite horrid after all that....

Thanks again everyone.

I am just relaxing at home. Doing some laundry...and watching Disney's The Kid. I love that movie.

And today just trying to get medical bills in order for the car wreck I was in three weeks ago, the total of the bills are about 2500.00

Insurance company has to pay for it.

Also I am still scared I do have cancer, and wont be able to have kids. But we shall see. I will know the results in a few days. I have a check up in two weeks, and I guess go from there...

i felt funny from just a colposcopy I can imagine what that must have been like. laugh and enjoy your day. sounds like you are being very optimistic. I'm sure it will be able to be taken care of.

They call me yesterday at work and told me...

EVERYTHING CAME BACK FINE!

As far as I know NO CANCER! WOOT..
