i go in for the LEEP procedure on friday. i dont know why but i am very scared. not sure why. maybe i am afraid of the pain i may experience. or the mental state that i will be in.. i am just so terrified.. i've researched a lot on the LEEP procedure and i've talked to many other ladies that have gone through it as well.. and everyone's recovery process i find is very different.. and same with the amount of pain they experience. i am just really scared. and its on my mind non stop.

Deep breathing, remember what you focus on, expands. Focus on recovery, focus on health.

i went in for the LEEP procedure friday morning. and let me tell you.. my dr. didnt give me a local anesthetic via IV. only gave my the cervical block. which only numbs the cervix.. didnt do much b.c i felt most of the surgery.. i was awake for the whole thing. and felt every cut and scrape she did. i broke down balling my eyes out during the procedure. my dr was a complete . didnt even care that i was in lots of pain. after the surgery was done she ran out of the room and let the nurse assisting her do the rest of the work. the nurse was the only person that got my through this.
