Unhappy Breast Lumps 19?

Hey everyone. I am wondering how much mammograms cost? And a full breast exam runs at? I am only 19 but I've always had a big fear of having breast cancer. I feel a lump but I don't know if it's normal what I'm feeling or if I'm overreacting or something. The lump is deep in my breast and I've had them for quite awhile. I am trying to get a doctor's appointment set up, and I am hoping they are just like my Mom's, benign. I am just really stressed about it cause my stepmom just died from colon cancer, and of course all the fears of dying young run through my head. I don't have medical insurance and I guess I just need a little information and reassurance, although I know I can't get that till I go get check and make for sure everything is alright...

I'm not sure the cost but you should call your local Family Planning or Planned Parenthood since they do womans exams and ask them. (((HUGS)))

Just get in for a regular exam. There are a lot of things that feel lumpy and are perfectly normal. This is one reason doing regular self exams is advised, so you know what's normal and what is different.

I just got an appointment for a pap smear, and pelvic and breast exam at a Planned Parenthood clinic. But my boyfriend is saying it'd save us money to just go get a mammogram elsewhere rather than do the clinical visit and get referred somewhere. I need advice. :S Should I cancel my appointment there and just get a mammogram done elsewhere?
