Perhaps you need to see someone other than an OB/GYN? A dermatologist for the mole, and internal medicine doc for the rest?
Ok I really need some help. I am posting this under the cancer section due to the fact I am running out of other things it could be and am really worried it may be cancer. Here is a little info:
I am 27 years old, have 3 kids (8, 6 and 4), I have no gallbladder, appendix, or right ovary or tube. I've had a tubal a little over 4 years ago and have had several issues with ovarian cysts in the past. The last 4-5 months things have gotten really wierd. I have a mole that was always there on the outside of my vaginal lips. Here lately its been extremely itchy, painful at times and the top of it has turned white where it had been all black. It feels more like a bump now. As it got worse so did other symptoms I noticed. I'm always tired, I'm itchy (mostly the mole but sometimes other parts of my vagina). I also have missed my period for the last 3 months now and that is really wierd. Even when I had cysts and my surgeries I NEVER missed a period. I have been having either white smooth discharge or blood tinged discharge on occasion but not all the time. I have a good amount of pelvic pain as well. I went to my doctor who tested me for all the major STD's and they all came back negative as well as yeast or an infection. It was neither of those. She didnt feel another cyst however I do have an ultrasound coming up Tuesday. I am having no symptoms that my period will be here anytime soon and with everything else going on I'm extremely worried. Also my blood work came back that my white blood cell count was a little high even though I have been on antibiotics for a month because she started treating me for everything when I first came in and my potassium is low. If anyone else has gone through something like this please let me know I am worried and my doc even said she is not sure what is wrong. But there again if she thought it was something major she wouldn't say due to not wanting to worry me until all the facts are in. Thank you so much for reading and look forward to recieving any kind of help.
Thanks again

As far as I am concerned, "opinion", if your itchy down there and it swells up, and your on antibiotics, your allergic to the antibiotics... and you do have Thrush.. I think she is wrong personally.
Bathe in a warm bath, with a little salt for the time being, see if that helps ease the itching...

Thanks for trying to help I do appreciate anything anyone can offer. The itching started way before I was put on antibiotics and its not all the time. I have tried baths and other things and it helps but it always comes back one way or another. It doesn't itch all the time just kind of one of those things I noticed when the other things started. The doc I see is my primary she just does the OB stuff too. And she is baffled which I guess isn't a good thing..lol. She is a great doctor though and will not stop until we find out what is going on. I was suppose to get my ultrasound tomorrow but it got postponed until Friday due to some mishap on the imaging centers behalf. The main thing that worries me is the missing period. But anyhow thanks again.
Aweee.. well I can see why she's baffled.
You know the fact that she is not prepared to give up and wants to find out why, is enlightening, so many Doctors really don't care.
Sorry, no one has had a simular problem to help but hope you find your answer soon...
Don't stress, that always makes matters worse..... delays things longer as well.
Best wishes sweet.

Although your doctor may be great, you should probably consider seeing an OBGYN that does both consultation and ultrasound that way she/he can explain exactly what they see in an OBGYN context. Often times when you just go to a lab or secondary place to have an ultra sound they just send a criptic message to your OBGYN after, it doesnt allow the doctor to see for herself whats really going on or look for other causes at that same time. Good luck!
agree with w-20 an wildchild - get another doc!
